The boat then drives off, carrying the parascender into the air. If the boat is powerful enough, two or three people can parasail behind it at the same time. The move to Dolphin Stadium was approved by the university’s Board of Trustees, on the recommendation of UM President Donna Shalala, on August 21, 2007.

Due to the condition of the Orange Bowl there had been much speculation in recent years over the venue’s continued viability as Miami football’s home stadium. With an on-campus stadium not practical due to substantial opposition from neighboring home owners in Coral Gables, the university was left with two options: move 25 miles north to Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens, which serves as home to the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, or renovate the Orange Bowl, adding more restrooms and a video replay screen and making assorted repairs to the stadium infrastructure. — Cont – Miami Hurricanes football – Wikipedia

Dolphin Stadium

hurricanesports.com – University of Miami Official Athletic Site

University of Miami

NCAA.com Football Home Page

We previously covered Dolphins Stadium while doing out NFL Teams, so Click on either image to view an Aerial or Bird’s Eye view of the stadium.

Technorati Tags: NCAA,College Football,Miami Hurricanes,Atlantic Coast

Florida State Seminoles – Doak S. The late Joe Robbie led the financing campaign to build “Joe Robbie Stadium”(JRS) for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). JRS revolutionized the economics of professional sports when it opened in 1987.┬á Inclusion of a Club Level, along with Executive Suites, helped to finance the construction of the stadium. Season ticket holders committed to long-term agreements and in return they received first-class amenities in a state-of-the-art facility which is still used as a model for new facilities across the country. It is a blend of modern design, classic appointments, state-of-the-art technology and historic influences that combine to create the most exciting and enjoyable game atmosphere in the National Football League. Some of the most extraordinary features include Buccaneer Cove.

In an effort to expand and enhance the overall game experience at Raymond James Stadium, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers constructed a $3 million pirate ship extravaganza called Buccaneer Cove. Located in the north end zone of the stadium, Buccaneer Cove encompasses 20,000 square feet and runs the entire length of the end zone concourse. The Cove features a weathered, 2-story fishing village facade from which a wide variety of stadium concessions, ranging from standard fare to more authentic Tampa items, are offered. Scattered throughout the area are a variety of beach hut kiosks offering additional concessions and other game enhancements. Buccaneers.com | RJS

Buccaneers.com | The Official Web Site of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Team Page

NFL.com – Official Site of the National Football League

Use the interactive map below to pan and zoom around the Aerial View or Bird’s Eye View of the stadium.  Make sure and check out the rest of the NFL Stadium views to find another team’s home field!

Link to Live Maps

Technorati Tags: NFL,Tampa Bay Buccaneers,Raymond James Stadium,Virtual Earth,Stadium,NFC South

Jacksonville Jaguars – Jacksonville Municipal Stadium Aerial and Bird’s Eye View

Featured

Florida

NFL

AFC South

Alltel Stadium

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Municipal Stadium

Stadium

Virtual Earth

(Formally Alltell Stadium) On August 18, 1995, when the Jacksonville Jaguars played their first game in their new stadium, it marked the first time in sports history that an expansion team had played its first home game in its first season in a new stadium or arena. Not only that, but it was built faster than any major-league stadium had ever been built in North America. In the short period of 19 1/2 months, the old Gator Bowl was demolished and a new stadium arose on the shores of the St. Johns River. And, very quickly, it was called the best stadium in the country. Just seconds before the Jaguars kicked off their first regular-season game on September 3, 1995, NBC broadcaster Don Criqui said, ΓÇ£There isnΓÇÖt a better football facility in America.ΓÇ¥ For its 10th year of operation, Jacksonville Municipal Stadium — then named Alltel Stadium — was the host site of Super Bowl XXXIX, the biggest single-day sporting event in the world. Stadium Page

jaguars.com — The official web site of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars Team Page

NFL.com – Official Site of the National Football League

Use the interactive map below to pan and zoom around the Aerial View or Bird’s Eye View of the stadium.  Make sure and check out the rest of the NFL Stadium views to find another team’s home field!

Link to Live Maps

Technorati Tags: NFL,Jacksonville Jaguars,Jacksonville Municipal Stadium,Virtual Earth,Stadium,AFC South

Bush Gardens Africa in Tampa Bay, FL Aerial and Bird’s Eye View

Featured

Florida

Theme Parks

Tourist Attraction

Bush Gardens

Virtual Earth

Busch Gardens is the ultimate family adventure park offering an array of fascinating attractions based on exotic encounters with the African continent.
