More Submarines – Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Aerial View
Thanks for the link by Steve, we have some more pictures of some submarines. Not moving this time, but still quite a few of them.
Check out the rest of our Submarine Aerial Photo Links if you enjoyed this link.
UPDATE: I asked the guys over at The Sub Report if they had any information on any of these submarines:
The top looks like Sturgeon Class submarines, Might be a Thresher and Skipjack class in there as well. The interesting sub is in the Top Right that is longer than the other and noticeably different. I’m 99% sure that is the USS Triton SSRN 586 webpage here http://garrygray.tripod.com/triton_home_page.htm
The USS Triton was the first submarine to circumnavigate the globe submerged with The Captian Edward Beach at command.
The bottom photo are 2 Lafayette Class or Benjamin Franklin Class Missile Submarines. 41 for freedom cold war relics like the Grant SSBN 631 and Stimson SSBN 655.
If you pan around a little you can see some decommissioned aircraft carriers there too. Thanks! Keep sending in more links if you have them. Any more subs??
